Kim’s story reinforces the powerful truth that the people closest to the problem are also closest to the solution. Kim Carter, founder and ambassador of Time for Change Foundation, is a community activist who has received more than 200 accolades and whose personal story was told in the 2022 film, Tell It Like a Woman, played by Jennifer Hudson. Certified in Accounting with an emphasis on not-for-profits, Kim was inspired to leave the corporate world in 2002 to start Time for Change Foundation. ![]() So, we are asking you, our community, to nominate people with powerful perspectives and meaningful lived experiences who are ready to deepen their change-making skills. Kim Carter is the Founder and Ambassador of Time for Change Foundation. In fact, Kim says it’s“…because of my Solís Policy Institute experience, I am courageous enough to think I can make a difference.” And what a difference she makes.ĭo you know someone like Kim who should be part of our Solís Policy Program?Īpplications for Solís Policy Institute – Local program open up in March and we want to make sure that all the right folks are making it into the program.
